The multiline command draws at least two lines simultaneously.
For example, the multiline command might be used to represent a wall 230mm thick, - a cavity wall formed by two 4" bricks with a 2" cavity. In the latter case, the command might draw 4 lines spaced at appropriate intervals.
Tip: Multilines are controlled by the multiline style setting on the Format drop down menu.
Here is a very short movie showing the use of the Multiline command to draw a small stone wall enclosing a raised deck.
The multi line tool can be used to quickly draw structures such as a low wall enclosing a deck area. We use the Format drop down menu to set up a multiline style matching the desired width of the wall, cap the ends and automatically put the joints in place.
